Louis Vuitton Reimagines Mother’s Day With Haute Chocolaterie by Maxime Frédéric
For Mother’s Day 2026, Louis Vuitton offers a refined take on gifting, unveiling an exclusive collection of chocolates by Pastry Chef Maxime Frédéric. Rooted in the House’s legacy of craftsmanship and detail, the collection transforms iconic design codes into an elevated culinary experience.
At the center of this year’s release is the return of the now-signature Chocolate Egg Bag, first introduced in 2025 and inspired by a handbag designed by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Spring-Summer 2019 runway. Reimagined in a vibrant, seasonal palette, the sculptural piece is crafted from dark chocolate and layered with candied orange, hazelnuts, and roasted pecans, finished with a rich pistachio praline and raspberry caramel filling. The result is a striking fusion of fashion and flavor, where design meets indulgence.
The collection also includes a selection of heart-shaped chocolates filled with crunchy praline, offering a more classic expression of the House’s attention to detail, while still delivering a sense of playfulness and luxury.
With each creation, Frédéric continues to blur the line between gastronomy and design, celebrating precision, artistry, and the transmission of savoir-faire. It is a thoughtful approach to gifting, one that feels both personal and distinctly elevated.
The collection is available beginning April 17 at Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton, located within Louis Vuitton 57th Street.
This Mother’s Day, the gesture is simple, but the experience is anything but.
