The 2023 edition of Frieze Los Angeles will welcome over 120 galleries from 22 countries across the world, including galleries from the greater Los Angeles region such as Blum & Poe and The Box alongside emerging spaces such as Chris Sharp and Dreamsong in the Focus section, and exhibitors showing pioneers of the 20th century. The Focus  section is  dedicated to emerging galleries and artists, showcasing the work of some of the most promising talents from across the US. This section is curated for the second year by Amanda Hunt, alongside new Associate Curator Sonya Tamaddon, and will include solo presentations by artists such as Greg Breda, Kyoko Idetsu, Edgar Ramirez, Sophie Wahlquist and Hana Ward. One of the highlights in Focus will be a dual presentation by LA-based gallery Stars, who will show a selection of photographs by LA-based photographer Clifford Prince King and ceramicist Andrés Monzón who works between Medellín and New York City.
