KISS with a Double Header at NYFW

On February 12th, 2024 KISS had a doubleheader with shows at Pamella Roland and Sergio Hudson. Each show had different themes and a different celebrity manicurist.

KISS at Pamella Roland had looks by celebrity artist Pattie Yankee. Pattie Yankee presents nail looks inspired by the historical charm and “modern elegance of Belgium.” She emphasized the “modern elegance” of the city by pairing classic nude shades with soft velvet tips. She uses a velvet finish to mirror the colors throughout the architecture in the city.

The Sergio Hudson show contained looks by Gina Edwards, a celebrity manicurist and KISS ambassador. Her nail looks were an ode to 70s glam inspired by iconic women, like Dianna Ross and Dianna Caroll. Edwards used denim and velvet looks. Gina put forth how she envisioned an “opulent nail with faceted stones with gold accents to reflect that era.”

Both shows communicated their themes through the use of color and style. The shows had iconic and distinctive looks that told the narratives of their celebrity manicurist.
