Elevate Snack Time with Go Free's Eco-Friendly, Healthy Chips

Introducing an exciting new snack brand that’s guilt-free and delicious—Go Free! Perfect for families looking for healthier, eco-friendly snacks, Go Free chips are a game-changer in the snack world.

Go Free potato chips just hit the shelves at over 400 grocery stores nationwide – here’s why this innovative new snack should be on your shopping list.

The technology to make wholesome potato chips that are better for people and better for the environment didn’t exist – so Go Free invented it:

Why Go Free Chips Are a Must-Try:

  • Healthier Snack Time: Go Free chips are made using Pure Crisp™ technology, a unique process for drying and dehydrating whole fresh potatoes. This method results in super crispy chips that are never greasy, with fewer calories and fat per ounce than traditional (deep-fried) chips.

  • Eco-Friendly: By applying a small amount of oil directly to potato pieces at ambient temperatures before cooking, Go Free's method eliminates up to 90% of the emissions associated with deep frying. This means Go Free chips have a significantly lower carbon footprint than their mainstream counterparts.

  • Easy to Find: You can grab these tasty snacks at Meijer, Sprouts, Central Market, and on Amazon. The brand comprises Sea Salt Potato Chips, Sour Cream & Onion Potato Chips, Sweet Potato Chips, Barbecue Potato Chips, Mini Fries, and new Cheesy Mini Fries.

Healthier Snack Time: Innovative Technology

Go Free chips are made using a cutting-edge process where water and air cook the chips instead of deep frying them in oil. This Pure Crisp™ technology ensures the chips are light and crunchy, never greasy.

Unlike other low-fat products made from mixtures or dough (e.g., Baked Lays), Go Free® potato chips and other savory snacks are made from whole fresh potatoes, sweet potatoes, fruits, vegetables, and root vegetables. Achieving this was a nine-year effort that resulted in proprietary and innovative processes, creating snacks with similar or better taste, texture, and snacking experience than fried products.

About Us

Founded in 2004, Jimmy Ash built its first state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bakersfield, CA. We develop and manufacture “better-for-you” foods, including savory snacks, under the Go Free brand. Our proprietary dryers and numerous other pieces of equipment, either developed by us or built to our specifications, are installed in our facility. We have also developed and patented several processes, including dehydration and oil application.

Our drying systems, patented in over 25 countries, use a Secondary Heat Source™. This ensures our products never come in contact with hot air heated by direct fire. Unlike classic or kettle-cooked potato chips, Go Free products are never deep fried and are free from continuously used deep frying oil.
