Olio e Più Brings Its Italian Soul to Bryant Park
Olio e Più has officially opened its newest New York City location just steps from Bryant Park, bringing the warmth, flavor, and spirit of Italian dining to the heart of Midtown. The opening marks the restaurant’s second location in New York and one of its most anticipated expansions to date.
Founded in Greenwich Village in 2010 by The Group Hospitality, Olio e Più has long been known for transporting guests straight to Italy through refined yet approachable cuisine, elegant rustic design, and genuine hospitality. The Bryant Park outpost builds on the legacy of the original while offering a more elevated interpretation designed for Midtown’s dynamic energy.
Inspired by La Dolce Vita, or “the sweet life,” the concept celebrates the shared meal as the heart of Italian culture. At Olio e Più, simplicity remains central, with careful attention paid to every ingredient from start to finish. The Bryant Park location enhances that philosophy with locally sourced elements woven throughout the menu, design, and music, creating a setting that feels timeless yet distinctly New York.
“Our Greenwich Village home has always been about warmth and community,” says founder Emil Stefkov. “With Bryant Park, we’re bringing that same heart to Midtown, a place where locals and visitors alike can experience the pleasure of classic Italian dining in the center of New York City.”
The menu is led by Italian native and Michelin-starred Executive Chef Danilo Galati, whose commitment to authenticity is reflected in every dish. Guests can enjoy housemade pastas such as Spaghetti alla Carbonara and Ravioli di Short Ribs al Ragù, alongside seasonal offerings including Fritto Primavera, Branzino alla Pantesca, and Tagliata e Verdure. Premium ingredients, including extra virgin olive oil from Jewel of Tuscany for cooking and 1923 Sogno Toscano for finishing, elevate the flavors while honoring Italian tradition. A robust wine program and curated selection of classic and seasonal cocktails round out the experience.
Designed to evoke the warmth of the Italian countryside, the 145-seat restaurant features lush greenery, warm wood finishes, antique chandeliers, and thoughtfully selected art pieces. A semi-open kitchen creates intimate pockets throughout the space, offering the feeling of gathering inside a welcoming Italian home. Alongside traditional dining tables, the restaurant includes an expansive 20-seat bar for cocktails or full meals, as well as cocktail tables ideal for lighter bites and aperitivo.
With daily Aperitivo Hour, weekend brunch, prix fixe lunch options tailored for business dining, and seasonal menu updates, Olio e Più Bryant Park is designed to serve neighborhood regulars, visiting tourists, and the surrounding corporate community. Convenient takeaway lunch options further enhance its appeal for Midtown diners on the go.
Located at 1065 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10018, Olio e Più Bryant Park is open seven days a week and available for private events. Reservations can be made via OpenTable, with takeout available through Uber Eats and Grubhub.
