A Toast to Espresso Martini Month with Nigel Barker
New York’s cocktail scene was buzzing as renowned photographer and entrepreneur Nigel Barker hosted a star-studded celebration in honor of Espresso Martini Month at Bowtie Bar in the heart of Times Square.
The evening spotlighted Barker’s growing spirits brand, The Barker Company, whose Espresso Martinis flowed throughout the night as guests gathered to toast the continued rise of the now-iconic cocktail. Barker, a longtime friend of BELLA and former BELLA cover photographer, has shot numerous covers for the magazine over the years, making the evening feel like a reunion of creative collaborators and industry friends.
Among those in attendance was BELLA Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Coppes, who joined guests in celebrating the brand’s impressive momentum after just over a year in business.
With the buzz around Espresso Martinis showing no signs of slowing down, the festivities served as the perfect lead-in to National Espresso Martini Day on March 15, when cocktail lovers everywhere will be raising a glass to the beloved blend of espresso, vodka, and coffee liqueur.
If the night was any indication, Barker’s signature sip is set to remain one of the most talked-about cocktails of the year.
