Gucci Changemakers: Shaping the Future of Arts and Culture
Gucci is once again stepping up to support creativity and innovation with the launch of the sixth chapter of its prestigious Gucci Changemakers North America initiative. This program, which has been a beacon for emerging talent and community-driven organizations since its inception in 2019, continues to cultivate positive change through three key pillars: the Impact Fund, Scholarship Program, and Creative Fellowship.
Under the theme "Manifesting Visions of Tomorrow," this year’s initiative celebrates individuals and organizations that are shaping a promising future in arts and culture. To mark the occasion, Gucci has released a short film directed by Anthony Prince Leslie. The film highlights the inspiring work of Gucci Changemakers Scholars and showcases Impact Fund recipient Custom Collaborative, a non-profit organization committed to empowering women from low-income and immigrant communities through sustainable fashion. Custom Collaborative’s Executive Director, Ngozi Okaro, serves as a powerful voice for the organization’s mission and the broader Changemakers movement.
The numbers speak volumes about the program’s impact. Since its launch, the Gucci Changemakers North America Impact Fund has supported 67 non-profit organizations across the continent, touching the lives of over 880,000 individuals. Additionally, the Scholarship Program has provided essential funding to 74 promising students, helping them pursue their creative and academic aspirations. With over $7 million invested into communities and young talent, Gucci’s commitment to fostering innovation and social change remains unwavering.
As applications for this year’s Gucci Changemakers initiative officially open, the brand continues to inspire and empower a new generation of leaders in arts and culture. Those interested in applying are encouraged to seize this unique opportunity to bring their creative visions to life and contribute to a brighter, more inclusive future.
