Project Zero + The Dream Bus Make Waves in Montauk
On Saturday, August 10, Project Zero returned to Montauk for its third annual Hamptons beach cleanup and fundraiser—this year partnering with Surf Lodge for a day that blended meaningful impact with a signature Hamptons celebration.
The morning began with a shoreline cleanup in downtown Montauk, one of the East End’s most beloved and bustling beaches. More than 30 volunteers joined forces to collect four bags of debris in under an hour, joined by The Dream Bus, a mobile initiative from non-profit 8 Billion Dreams, lending extra hands (and heart) to the effort.
As the day turned to evening, guests gathered at Surf Lodge for a sunset benefit supporting Project Zero’s Coral Collective, a global campaign dedicated to protecting and restoring coral reefs. The night came alive with performances from Alexandra Richards, Malice K, Jordan Emanuel, and Grace Bowers, their sets soundtracking a golden Montauk sunset over the water.
A curated art auction featured works by notable talents including James Goldcrown, Jake Clark, and Bradley Theodore, with 100% of proceeds directed to coral reef restoration. The auction remains open through the week [HERE].
This year’s event was made possible with the generous support of Holiday Vodka, Astral Tequila, Wölffer Estate Vineyard, and Fisher’s Island Lemonade.
