Miami Swim Week® The Shows Unveils Resort 2027's Boldest Trends

Rain or shine, Miami Swim Week® The Shows once again proved why it remains the world's premier swim and resort wear platform, welcoming emerging and established designers from around the globe to debut their Resort 2027 collections at Mondrian South Beach. Not even South Florida's unpredictable weather could slow the momentum of one of fashion's most anticipated weeks.

This season embraced a confident and fashion forward vision of resort dressing, with designers showcasing intricate crochet and netted textures, sheer layering, metallic finishes, dramatic cutouts, body contouring silhouettes, and flowing coverups. Rich jewel tones, warm sunset hues, shimmering gold accents, and vibrant prints defined a season centered on elevated glamour, bold femininity, and effortless luxury.

Among the week's standout presentations was Ema Savahl's In Goddesses We Trust: Persephone, a collection inspired by mythology and feminine empowerment. Featuring metallic prints, dramatic cutouts, deep red tones, and flowing cape like coverups, the collection delivered a powerful and theatrical interpretation of modern resortwear.

Leila Denise Handmade brought understated elegance to the runway with intricate knitwear, sheer coverups, sculpted silhouettes, and elevated resort separates accented by statement hardware, fringe, and beaded details.

Meanwhile, Amarotto Swimwear captured attention with a collection inspired by monarch butterflies, incorporating vibrant shades of red, burnt orange, and gold through butterfly embellishments, metallic accents, and wing inspired silhouettes.

Oisiri Swim embraced a romantic resort aesthetic, blending soft pastel hues with bold black tones. Flowing silhouettes, floral accents, sheer fabrics, jeweled lace coverups, and coordinated two piece sets created a collection that felt feminine, modern, and effortlessly elegant.

Mars The Label delivered a high energy runway presentation filled with confidence and bold personality. Neon color palettes, subtle animal prints, textured detailing, plunging one pieces, ruched bikinis, and mesh coverups combined to create a fashion forward take on contemporary resortwear.

Cocora Shop showcased a sleek and modern collection defined by geometric patterns, metallic textures, and contemporary swimwear design. Asymmetric one pieces, chic halter sets, and chevron inspired color blocking were elevated through soft gold accents and shimmering finishes that added dimension and sophistication.

Hannah Del Mar brought a glamorous vision of Colombian craftsmanship to the runway through vibrant swimwear, dramatic cutouts, body skimming silhouettes, and shimmering fabrics. Featuring draped skirts, sheer overlays, fringe embellishments, and metallic details, the collection balanced resortwear and ready to wear influences for a confident and luxurious approach to beachside dressing.

One of the most meaningful presentations of the week came from Post Swim x The Chemo Club, a collaboration designed to provide supportive, post surgery swimwear. Showcasing vibrant shades of pink and lavender alongside coordinated coverups and accessories, the collection combined fashion and function while helping model and cancer advocate Sydney Towle fulfill her dream of walking the runway.

From innovative design and emerging talent to global influences and elevated craftsmanship, Miami Swim Week® The Shows delivered a dynamic preview of the trends shaping Resort 2027. The result was a season defined by confidence, individuality, and a fresh vision of modern coastal glamour.
