Crowning Excellence: Joselli Rojas and the Global Rise of Tamm Agency

By Ashley Foster

When people think of American dreams in entertainment, they often picture Hollywood auditions, music stages, or modeling contracts. Rarely do they imagine crowns, sashes, and global pageantry. Yet across much of the world, male pageantry is as prestigious as the Olympics — a platform that launches careers and defines cultural identity. Joselli Rojas, founder of TAMM Agency and The Authority Productions, is on a mission to give pageantry the same respect in the United States.

“In America, most aspiring talent walk into the TAMM agency dreaming of modeling — not pageants,” Joselli explains. “When I see potential, I introduce them to it. Pageantry requires more than just a beautiful face. You need the right mindset. You need intelligence. You need presence.”

From Passion to Profession

Joselli’s journey into pageantry didn’t begin in a boardroom but on a runway. At the age of 15, he modeled in the Philippines, planting the first seeds of a lifelong passion. While family expectations led him into healthcare and nursing, fashion always remained close to his heart.

“The dream never left,” Joselli says. “Even when life took me in another direction.”

That dream reignited in 2020, during the uncertainty of the pandemic. Joselli took a leap of faith, returning to fashion full-time. By 2021, he became a National Pageantry Director and franchise holder, tasked with finding Mr. USA for international competitions. In the process, he discovered something profound: pageantry wasn’t just about individual wins — it was about building a system that could empower talent and shift perceptions.

Building Winners, Shifting Perceptions

In 2022, Joselli launched The Authority Productions and TAMM Agency. That very year, his first candidate placed second in Mr. United States. It was the beginning of a track record few could rival. Over the next three years, Joselli’s mentorship produced champions across the globe, transforming TAMM from a new agency into an international powerhouse.

The roster of winners includes:

●      Mister Cosmopolitan 2023 – Blake Johnston, USA

●      Man of the Year 2023 – Dereck Gimenes, Brazil

●      Great Man of the Universe 2023 – Joao Emiliao, Brazil

●      Man of the World 2025 – Juul Missiean, Spain

●      Manhunt International 2025 – Adonis Renaud, France

Other TAMM candidates consistently reached the Top 10 or achieved runner-up placements, proving the agency’s ability to produce not just one-off stars but consistent excellence.

Why Pageantry Matters

For many Americans, pageantry is often misunderstood, even dismissed. Yet globally, it is a cultural institution — and a launchpad for icons. Names like Halle Berry, Oprah Winfrey, Diane Sawyer, Martha Stewart, Linda Carter, and Michelle Pfeiffer all passed through pageantry before rising to fame.

“It’s an honorable pursuit,” Joselli emphasizes. “It opens doors — endorsements, acting, modeling, and so on. I want Americans to understand that.”

What makes TAMM stand out is not just its ability to train models but its philosophy of building well-rounded individuals. Contestants are coached in communication, presence, and mindset — skills that serve them well beyond the competition stage. In doing so, Joselli isn’t just producing winners; he’s building ambassadors who can represent their countries with pride.

Expanding the Playing Field

Part of shifting perceptions involves expanding opportunities. TAMM has grown quickly, establishing franchises in the United States and Spain while developing affiliated agencies in Dubai, Paris, and Milan. Partnerships extend across Italy, Turkey, Brazil, France, China, India, and Thailand, making TAMM a bridge between American talent and the international stage.

These alliances reflect a simple truth: success in pageantry isn’t achieved in isolation. By creating international networks, Joselli ensures that American contestants gain exposure, mentorship, and opportunities they might never access otherwise.

Beyond Crowns: A Cultural Shift

For Joselli, pageantry is more than trophies or titles. It’s about rewriting cultural narratives. While much of the world views male pageantry with honor, the U.S. has been slower to embrace it. TAMM Agency is changing that by proving that American men not only belong in these competitions but can thrive at the highest level.

“This is about more than crowns,” Joselli says. “It’s about opportunity. It’s about changing perceptions. It’s about showing the world what American talent can achieve.”

With every crown, Joselli is not just elevating individual winners but reshaping an entire industry’s image in his home country. For young men walking into TAMM Agency, it may begin as a modeling dream — but for many, it ends on the global pageantry stage, forever transforming their careers.

In an era when pageantry is often dismissed in the U.S., Joselli Rojas stands as a reminder that the world beyond its borders thinks differently. And thanks to TAMM Agency’s impact, America is starting to catch up.
