Plant Riverside District – Savannah, Georgia

The Kessler Collection’s Plant Riverside District is the largest redevelopment in the history of Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District. Known as “Savannah’s Entertainment District,” Plant Riverside District is a $375 million project expanding the city’s iconic riverfront to a 4.5-acre waterfront hospitality and entertainment destination, anchored by the 419-room JW Marriott Savannah. With three unique hotel buildings to choose from: Atlantic, Three Muses and Power Plant, the experience is completed with numerous dining options, rooftop bars, a concert venue, art gallery, riverfront park and even natural science exhibits to spark imagination.

On the Horizon:

The Kessler Collection continues expansion throughout the Southeast by announcing a $150 million+ small scale mixed-use village development in Cashiers, N.C., designed by architect and town planner Christian B. Sottile. Cashiers East Village - a 24.5-acre development - is set to break ground in 2023 and will incorporate diverse accommodations including a boutique lodge, mountain cottages and luxurious glamping cabins, as well as two full-service restaurants with a rooftop bar, a café, high-end shopping, art spaces, an event pavilion and residential village anchored by a retail and community center – Cashiers Hall. Additionally, the Kessler Collection purchased the historic Elks Building in New Bern, N.C. for $2.25 million with plans to develop the property into a boutique hotel. The luxurious boutique hotel will boast meeting and event space, an intimate speakeasy on the lower level and a specialty coffee shop and restaurant on the street level. The hotel will offer the brand’s signature accommodations with custom interior design and curated artwork, all while weaving in a thread of education throughout the hotel and guest experience.
