SIMKHAI Unveils Fall/Winter 2025: A Study in Craftsmanship and Future Heirlooms

SIMKHAI, the celebrated fashion house founded by designer Jonathan Simkhai, has officially launched its Fall/Winter 2025 collection—a line first revealed to acclaim at New York Fashion Week this past February.

Drawing inspiration from a single, storied object—an antique brooch discovered at the Rose Bowl Flea Market—Simkhai has created a collection that is both intimate and architectural, where craftsmanship takes center stage. With every stitch and seam, the collection speaks to the artistry of the SIMKHAI atelier, unveiling what is often hidden: the construction itself. Exposed seams, inside-out detailing, precise corsetry, and refined tailoring reveal a deeper narrative of how garments come to life.

The collection's palette is richly autumnal, yet layered with unexpected vibrancy. Shades of cyan and azure mingle with cypress green, camel, and muted gold, evoking a decadent yet grounded feel—luxury with soul. Each piece feels like it belongs to a world both past and present, honoring the vintage silhouettes and personal histories that inspired the designer’s vision.

“While designing, I thought about vintage pieces and the lives of those who wore them,” Simkhai shares. “This collection is about creating the future heirlooms—pieces that will go on to live new lives and carry new stories.”

With Fall/Winter 2025, SIMKHAI doesn't just deliver a collection—it offers a legacy in the making.
