Having been invited to attend Showcase Ireland 2025, I had the privilege of experiencing one of Europe’s most vibrant events firsthand. Showcase Ireland was established in 1976 by the Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI), Showcase has grown from a national craft fair into one of Ireland’s premier international trade shows. Now celebrating its 50th year, the event brings together nearly 400 exhibitors and over 4,500 buyers from around 30 countries at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS).

A Platform for Global Growth

Minister for Enterprise, Trade, and Employment Peter Burke TD officially opened Showcase 2025, emphasizing its role in fostering international business opportunities. The annual event generates over €25 million in sales orders, reinforcing its status as a major driver of Ireland’s craft and design economy.

Enterprise Ireland’s continued support has helped Irish brands expand into key international markets, with this year’s show drawing buyers from the USA, UK, Germany, France, and the Middle East.
