The 37-look show was paired with an edgy and dramatic soundtrack and even featured a performance by YOSHIKI himself. YOSHIKI's team was star-studded including stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeel, former Vogue fashion director. The team also featured casting by Maida Gregori Boina, hair by Odile Gilbert, makeup by Kabuki, and he assigned Kuki de Salvertes. The show acted to bring together a powerful collaboration.

With MAISON YOSHIKI PARIS, YOSHIKI had an intentional vision fastening his collection on motifs of sustainability, upcycling, short production circuits, and being genderless. He articulated how despite this line being women’s ready-to-wear fashion it is genderless. YOSHIKI used Milan as a source of inspiration- pulling from the architecture, culture, and museums. His goal was for the line to be edgy yet impactful, describing it as contemporary edgy with a touch of rock and roll.

The materials used were high-end and natural, from Italy and France. The collection was all black with subtle red accents and pops of the color. The silhouettes of the collection were elongated, structured, and powerful- as YOSHIKI describes it himself. The accessories included boots, glasses, and gloves.
