Miami Fashion Week® (MIAFW) marked its highly anticipated return to South Florida, enthralling audiences with an array of exclusive runway displays and events that redefined the very essence of fashion. Spanning from January 24 to 28, 2024, the city underwent a remarkable transformation into a global fashion hub, where the realms of fashion, art, and culture seamlessly converged, bringing together industry leaders from across the world.

The festivities commenced with a grand press conference held at the esteemed Gary Nader Art Centre. A distinguished panel, featuring Art Collector Gary Nader, CFDA President CaSandra Diggs, Fashion Designer Karl Kani, Miami-Dade Commissioner Oliver Gilbert, and MIAFW Executive Managing Director Lourdes Fernández-Velasco, warmly welcomed the local community. The Gary Nader Art Centre, renowned for housing the world's largest Botero collection, emerged as a central point for captivating runway presentations throughout the week.

An engaging panel discussion came to life at Kiki on the River, with moderator CaSandra Diggs leading the conversation alongside Karl Kani, filmmaker Jessy Terrero, and songwriter Ashley Joi. Together, they delved into the profound impact of style and culture. To kick off the series of runway presentations, Karl Kani, revered as the "Godfather of Streetwear," curated MIAFW's inaugural streetwear showcase at the Elser Hotel. This star-studded event showcased luminaries such as actress Pretty Vee, MMA world champion David Evans, and former NBA star Larry Sanders Jr., all strutting down the runway adorned in bold and cutting-edge designs.

The iconic Gary Nader Art Centre played host to captivating runway shows by renowned designers, including Yas González, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Rene by RR, Lisu Vega, Angel Sanchez, and Giannina Azar. Each show showcased unforgettable designs that pushed the boundaries of fashion.

MIAFW's commitment to sustainability took center stage during the Sustainable Summit at Miami-Dade College. The critical intersection of fashion and eco-consciousness was explored through insightful discussions. Moderated by Gabriella Smith, the summit featured panels such as "The Art of Sustainable Fashion: Blending Creativity with Eco-Consciousness" and "From Waste to Wardrobe: The Role of Recycling in Fashion’s Future."
