Louis Vuitton Expands Its Horological Universe at LVMH Watch Week
At this year’s LVMH Watch Week, Louis Vuitton once again demonstrated that its vision of time extends far beyond function. The House unveiled an ambitious series of new watches that deepen its commitment to fine watchmaking while honoring the craftsmanship, artistry, and imagination that define the brand.
A New Chapter for the Escale
The Louis Vuitton Escale collection embarks on a renewed journey. Relaunched in 2024 with a refined design language and a time only configuration, the collection now expands into haute horlogerie with the introduction of four new calibres and five new permanent additions.
Produced, assembled, and finished entirely in the Geneva workshops of La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, these new Escale models signal a confident evolution. The collection moves beyond its original aesthetic codes to embrace greater mechanical complexity while preserving the spirit of travel that has long defined the House.
Escale Tiger's Eye
Among the highlights is the Escale Tiger’s Eye, limited to just 30 pieces. Following the 2025 platinum releases featuring turquoise and malachite, this latest creation continues Louis Vuitton’s exploration of ornamental stonework in fine watchmaking. The use of tiger’s eye brings warmth, depth, and natural dimension to the dial, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to artisanal savoir faire and the romanticism of the Art of Travel.
Tambour Convergence Guilloché
Also unveiled is the Tambour Convergence Guilloché, the third model in the Tambour Convergence line. Crafted within the Geneva ateliers of La Fabrique du Temps, the piece furthers the House’s use of the wide precious plate that characterizes the collection. Here, it becomes a canvas for métiers d’art, showcasing intricate guilloché work that balances technical mastery with decorative refinement.
The Tambour Convergence continues Louis Vuitton’s steady ascent in the world of haute horlogerie, where mechanical excellence and artistic expression coexist in equal measure.
A Legendary Vehicle, Reimagined
Perhaps the most imaginative reveal of the week was the transformation of Louis Vuitton’s legendary Camionnette delivery truck into an extraordinary object of time.
Following the Montgolfière Aéro table clock introduced in 2024, a miniature hot air balloon that captured the spirit of flight and fantasy, La Fabrique du Temps now turns to the road. The Camionnette is reimagined as a horological masterpiece, blending heritage and whimsy. What was once a symbol of Louis Vuitton’s early delivery days is now an intricate timekeeping sculpture, evoking nostalgia while celebrating the House’s enduring creativity.
With each unveiling, Louis Vuitton continues to blur the line between watchmaking and storytelling. At LVMH Watch Week, the message was clear: time, for Louis Vuitton, is not just measured. It is imagined, crafted, and brought to life through artistry, innovation, and a deep respect for heritage.
