Kingsley Ben-Adir Stars in Gucci's Latest Campaign Dedicated to the Horsebit 1953 Loafer

Under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno, a new chapter of the Horsebit 1953 loafer is introduced. Gucci’s campaign features British actor Kingsley Ben-Adir in relaxed portrait style photos narrating the timeless style of the shoe.

This new chapter revisits the 1953 Horsebit loafer, featuring a double ring, bar, and decorative emblem which was introduced in the 1940s. The shoe was inspired by equestrianism, paying homage to Gucci's 1950s designs infusing a modern style.

The campaign with Ben-Adir is minimalistic, interpreting how the shoe can be used in everyday life. The portraits have sensual tones, with a smolder worn on his face with his body language relaxed, sprawled out on the furniture.

Gucci since 1921 has been a leading luxury brand that redefines luxury. The products of Gucci celebrate creativity and Italian craftsmanship.
