Fashion Week Brooklyn 2023

BELLA Magazine attended Fashion Week Brooklyn, FWBK Season 1 2023 - “Where Brooklyn At,” at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The weekend’s events were hosted by reality TV stars, Riley Christian and Sierra Jackson, of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” franchises.

On his experience hosting, Riley, founder of Christian Law, P.C., says “Hosting FWBK was an electrifying experience! I was honored to grace the platform and host one of the community’s leading fashion events. Huge thank you to Rick Davy, Founder, for the opportunity and for your continued dedication to community, fashion and showcasing the talents of aspiring and established designers, locally and across the globe!”

Friday night’s fashion shows featured Sustainable x Avant Garde designers, including: “FREE” @freeinquotes, Beilharz @beilharz_official, Nixx Pain @nixxpain, A Disco World @noelanthonymartinez @kat_steel, Tashii Couture @tashiicouture, Calm Jungle @calmjungle.world, and Giselle NY @giselle.ny.

Sierra, who hosted Saturday’s shows, shares “I couldn’t have been more excited to host FWBK! I had the opportunity to meet the General Counsel of Trinidad as well as some amazing designers who are using their proceeds to support their countries and communities! BK Style Foundation is doing wonderful things and I can’t wait to see how they continue to provide a platform for local and global creatives!”
