International Celebrity Designer Elie Balleh supports and raises awareness for autism.

New York Fashion Week is full of show-stopping moments and over the years designers have taken one of the trendiest weeks in fashion to also raise awareness for issues near to their hearts. International designer, Elie Balleh, known for his unique and one-of-a-kind blazers and suits, hosted a fashion week show at The Sanctuary Roosevelt Island to support and raise awareness for autism.

As a father of 8 and a fashion designer, Elie Balleh knows the significance of how you look is how you feel, sharing, “I want to give back to the community; we as adults must lead by example and show these students that good still exists in these difficult times.” In efforts to raise awareness for autism, he has partnered with Averyon Academy. Aveyron focuses on autistic students ages twelve and up learning to partake in day-to-day chores so they can live independently.
