Juliana Plexxo's Groundbreaking Exhibition at Miami Art Week

The vibrant city of Miami is renowned for its dynamic art scene, and this year's Art Week is about to get an electrifying addition. Colombian contemporary artist Juliana Plexxo, in collaboration with Studio 46 Barcelona, is bringing a new dimension to art through her interactive exhibition "Juliana Plexxo X Studio 46 Barcelona – A Contemporary Art Exhibition." This unique showcase, blending art with augmented reality (AR), is set to be a centerpiece of Miami’s Art Week 2023.

Taking place at the National Hotel Miami Beach from December 1 to 10, 2023, Plexxo's exhibition is an immersive 10-day experience. Sponsored by Source Protocol and powered by One of Us, the event features a series of five pop-up events, each encapsulating a different facet of art and technology. Guests can look forward to a range of activities, from a private gala and live performances to an exclusive meet-and-greet with Plexxo herself.

Plexxo's latest collection, “Rhythm,” is the star of the show. It’s a bold exploration of traditional and contemporary art, a theme Plexxo is deeply committed to. This commitment is palpable in her artwork, which is infused with her cultural heritage and a distinctive, one-of-a-kind artistic process. Her exhibition in Miami, featuring her cubism style, promises to be a sensory feast, heightened by an AR immersive twist.

The involvement of Studio 46 Barcelona, a space that has hosted the likes of Joan Miro and Salvador Dalí, adds significant prestige to the event. Plexxo's inclusion in this esteemed line-up solidifies her status as a leading contemporary artist. Her numerous accolades, including a nomination for the “Best Young Talent” award by the University of Berkeley and a spot on Forbes' 2022 list of the 50 most creative people, are a testament to her groundbreaking work in the art world.

Beyond her artistic prowess, Plexxo stands as an influential figure for Latin women in the arts. Working out of Studio 46 Barcelona, she is a vocal advocate for breaking down barriers and empowering female artists in a traditionally male-dominated field.

The event's schedule is packed with highlights. The opening night on December 1 at 6 p.m. will set the tone for the exhibition. On December 4, guests can enjoy an insightful presentation by Plexxo, offering a deeper understanding of her artistic journey and vision. A black-tie networking night hosted by Source Protocol on December 7 promises to be an excellent opportunity for art and tech enthusiasts to connect. The event culminates on December 9 with a private PR and networking extravaganza, featuring an interactive live art performance by Plexxo, a live DJ set, and a catered experience.
