“I wanted to create something that truly reflects where I am in my life right now,”
she says. Expressions is just that—a harmonious fusion of the past and present. By intertwining classics from the Great American Songbook with her own lyrical narratives, she offers a soundscape that’s both timeless and intimate. “It feels like a celebration of the music that shaped me and the voice I've developed along the way,” she shares.

It’s no surprise Antonia’s musical lineage runs deep. Raised in a world surrounded by jazz royalty—Rosemary Clooney, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, and of course, her legendary father, Tony Bennett—her artistic education was as organic as it was extraordinary. “I learned so much just by observing them,” she reflects. “One of the biggest lessons was understanding how hard they worked—not that they saw it as work, because they genuinely loved what they were doing.”
When it comes to songwriting, Antonia’s process is fluid and intuitive. “Most of the time, I start with a melody—but not always. Sometimes it begins with a lyric, a feeling, or even a harmonic idea. Inspiration can come from anywhere; I try to stay open to whatever shows up first.”
And there’s much more music on the horizon. Antonia is currently immersed in a new Brazilian-inspired project that promises to bring a lush, rhythmic layer to her ever-evolving artistry. “One of the highlights is a beautiful collaboration with Marcos Valle—we recorded his song Summer Samba. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Danilo Caymmi,” she reveals, her excitement evident.
“I absolutely love this genre; the music is so rich, romantic, and full of life.”
For those hoping to follow in her footsteps, Antonia offers sincere wisdom:
“Keep going. Trust your instincts. Find great mentors. And practice—every day if you can. There’s no shortcut, but there’s so much reward in the journey.”
With Expressions, Antonia Bennett invites us to listen not just to her music—but to her story, her roots, and her remarkable voice as an artist coming fully into her own.
