BELLA’s 2024 Pride Issue Cover Party Drag Brunch
BELLA Magazine celebrated its fifth-annual, 2024 Pride Issue with a Drag Brunch themed cover party at Burgerology in Midtown, NYC. The event was hosted by BELLA’s CEO/EIC, Vanessa Coppes, who was joined on the rainbow carpet by cover stars Brita Filter and Rosè, as well as Burgerology owner, Georgia Galatoulas. BELLA Brand Partner, Hi Beautiful You, was a Presenting Sponsor at the brunch, including a pop-up of their beauty products and a speech from the brand’s founder, Richard Anderson. Drag Queens Norma Tears and The Gem Annai gave two show-stopping vocal performances and Pride Issue cove star, Brita Filter, brought the house down with an emotional rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” Burgerology served up delicious brunch bites and guests sipped on 818 Tequila “mermaid” cocktails. Throughout the day, BELLA sold raffle tickets for a basket valued at over $1,000, including gift certificates from La Pulperia NYC and Beauty Bar 1947, as well as various beauty products, all in benefit of the Ali Forney Center, supporting LGBTQIA+ youth. Partygoers danced all day to the sounds of DJ Spin Diesel and took home swag bags provided by Kevin Murphy, filled with goodies from KISS, Hi Beautiful You, Beauty Bar 1947, Beauty Creations, Fat Tire, and Kevin Murphy.
