35th Annual GLAAD Media Awards Presented by Ketel One Vodka

On March 14th, 2024, GLAAD hosted its 35th annual media awards at the Beverly Hills Hilton with Ketel One Vodka. The awards had star-studded appearances featuring Oprah, Sydney Sweeny, Renee Rapp, Jonathan Bailey, and more. The awards celebrate those who have made strides in LGBTQ+ representation in the media.

The event was hosted by Ketel One Vodka, where VIP guests enjoyed iconic cocktails such as Cosmopolitans, espresso martinis, and more. The event was at the Beverly Hilton because it serves as a space of representation for the queer community, being described as a powerhouse for advancing representation in the media.

At the event, Oprah Winfrey received the GLAAD Vanguard award because of the difference and impact she has made in the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, the Stephen F. Kolzak Award was given to Nicey Nash-Betts, due to her actions to increase queer visibility and acceptance in the media.
