2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Launch

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit royalty strutted their stuff down the red carpet last night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood to celebrate the launch of the 2023 issue.

The red carpet included some iconic appearances from cover models Megan Foxand Brooks Nader, along with a roster of SI models such as Katie Austin, Christen Harper, Kamie Crawford, Hailey Clauson, and Camille Kostek, who attended the event with her boyfriend, NFL star Rob Gronkowski.

The women supported fellow cover model and Grammy-Award-winning artist Kim Petras, who headlined the grand issue debut of the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. 

Petras brought the house down at Hard Rock Live with an electric performance featuring a setlist of fourteen tracks. During Petras’ performance of “Coconuts,” SI Swimsuit rookies Ellie ThumannMelissa Wood-TepperbergMadisin Rian,Lauren ChanLorena DuranJennifer Atilémile joined onstage.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit brought the heat this past weekend on Saturday, May 20, and SundayMay 21 to celebrate the launch of the 2023 Sport Illustarted Issue which featured cover models Martha StewartMegan FoxKim Petras and Brooks Nader. As part of the celebration, the Hard Rock Hotel pool at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood was transformed into Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Island, which was a two-day activation.

The event kicked-off with a meet and greet with models Brooks Nader, Camille KostekNicole Williams English,  Ellie Thumann, Lorena Duran, and rookieMadisin Rian, who autographed copies of the latest issue and took photos with devoted fans.

The two-day series also included a stellar lineup of activations. Attendees were treated to complimentary services from the official Beauty Bar, which featured nail bling from Nail Drip Miami, hair styling by Priv, and a giveaway of free samples from brands such as completely bare, dibs, and Sunless’s Mystic Tan and Norvell.

One of the biggest hits of the weekend was the Dream Closet, a curated space by SI Swimsuit’s fashion team, where Founder MJ Day was spotted throughout the event.  The space was reflective of the actual SI Swimsuit closet in New York City as it included many of the brand’s customized looks and served as the ultimate posh photo opp destination.

Guests also had the incredible opportunity to explore the most sought-after summer trends in the SI Swimsuit Amazon Storefront & from brands such as KnixMonica Hansen Beachwear, and Vince Camuto. Swimwear and accessories featured in this year's issue were also on display! 

Event-goers were even treated to complimentary hand-drawn high-fashion portraits sponsored by the renowned shoe designer, Vince Camuto. These exquisite sketches were personally crafted by artist, Yaima Linares. Furthermore, attendees were given the opportunity to fashion their very own personalized tote bags, guided and produced by Miami Mixed Media. To top it all off, the event offered a revitalizing experience courtesy of Paradocs Hydration, providing event-goers with an invigorating boost to enhance their overall rejuvenation.

To close out the iconic weekend, On Sunday May 21,  Melissa Wood-Tepperberg led an electrifying 25 Min Fiery Full Body Flow. The session was elevated to new heights as notable Sports Illustrated Swimsuit talent including Camille KostekKatie Austin, Christen HarperLivvy Dunne, Ellie ThumannGeo Burke, and Sixtine Rouyre participated, adding their own touch of star power.
