Can you briefly tell us a little about your company/ job?The Craft Studio is magic and I absolutely love what I do…who can be in a bad mood when creating happy memories for people?!We do so many different things…craft classes in studio and at schools, amazing parties in our studios, fab events and parties to go at peoples homes or venue, corporate team building events, brand building creating activations for customers in large retailers, workshops, classes, we package our own craft kits and sell them online and in our studios, and walk in crafting experiences in studio!Our philosophies are that there are no mistakes in art, perfect is boring, and creativity should be accessible to everyone!We build our craft projects on what’s trendy in pop culture to make it exciting and fun for kids and adults! Our art is not your same old tired arts and crafts! From bucket hats, to pink chocolate houses, to pumpkin spice slime…there is something for everyone!
What's the most rewarding aspect of what you do?I’ve been doing this since I was 18…I started as a part time college student and the owner saw something in me. When I was about to graduate I pitched an after school program to her and she asked me if I wanted to buy the business and she worked with me despite me having student loans and not a chunk of change to buy it outright. What has been so rewarding is watching kids grow up over these 20 plus years. Seeing how you make can make a positive impact on a child that they remember and take with them into adulthood has been life changing. I just love making people happy and inspiring younger generations that they can do any thing!
In only one sentence, what would you say is the secret to your success?Being genuine and kind…I truly care so much that people have only the best experience with my company and brand and I’ve also worked extremely hard…nothing beats hard work.
