Hearts on Fire

Valentine’s Day often brings us the colorways of pastels or splashes of red and pink. Yet, year-round, the shape and the print of hearts is timeless.  It’s one of the reasons I have a heart illustration on my book cover, The Love List. While being a bit whimsical, the heart can be very punk rocker, cool (Think Saint Laurent and Area). Here is a collection of heart shaped/printed products that you’ll be sure to love and wear all year long:

Jewelry:

Incorporating hearts into your accessory collection is easy at all price points and ranges the depth of fashion. Part of the new collection from Fortune and Frame is the Deco Heart Locket and matching Deco Heart Signet Ring.

The heart locket opens up to reveal a message or mantra. Both are available in 5 enamel colorways. These fine jewelry pieces from Logan Hollowell echo some Megan Fox/Machine Gun Kelly Emerald engagement ring vibes. Check out this beautiful Baby Colombian Emerald Heart Ring with Full Pavé Diamond Halo.

Clothing:

There is something quite sweet and charming about a heart print. I like how the style of the heart print can be both dressy or casual depending on the color and material. Wear this pale rose LoveShackFancy Petra Cropped Cardigan as a top with jeans or pair it with your favorite high waisted skirt. The pointelle knit is a great layer over dresses or a tank top too.

I walked into Nordstrom and they were hosting San-Francisco based, Lisa Says Gah pop up shop. I had to know more. Online, Lisa Says Gah sells a curated selection of brands, alongside their own namesake brand. This Lola Heart Slip is part of their collection. The punchy design is guaranteed to make you smile.

I first got wind of the athleisure brand, Terez when their collaboration with The Charmsters came out last year. Add some color to your work-out routine with the Uplift Sports Bra in Pink Heart Foil. The matching leggings have a flattering high rise and the high neck racerback sports bra are both available in the high compression Uplift fabric.

Accessories:

If you are familiar with Lele Sadoughi, then you know all about her beautiful collection of accessories – namely her headbands. The June Alexandrite Heart Mixed Crystal Velvet Knotted Headband reminds me of those delicious cinnamon hearts you can get this time of year (I’m a fan).

Seeing life through rose colored lenses might not be a bad idea after all. The Quay Australia Heartbreaker rose gold heart-shaped frames come with copper fade lenses.

A perfect nostalgic addition for any poolside session. My favorite tights company, Calzedonia, has patterns for all occasions. Check out these Heart 30 Denier Semi Sheer tights with an all over heart pattern. The tone on tone pattern creates  a subtle whimsical effect to your outfit. Sadly, these heart-throbes always sell out way before the 14th of February. Make sure you are on the email list for future restock.
