Bloom in Beauty: A Transformative Career Experience for the Beauty Industry

This spring, South Florida’s vibrant beauty scene reached new heights with Bloom in Beauty, a groundbreaking career-focused networking event held at the stunning Addison in Boca Raton—an elegant venue fittingly located in a city celebrating its centennial year. Hosted by beauty entrepreneur Dr. Karen Diaz-Meaike, the event offered a fresh and inspiring approach to professional development in the beauty industry.

Unlike traditional expos, Bloom in Beauty redefined the networking experience by bridging the gap between top-tier beauty professionals, hiring businesses, education leaders, and brand partners. The event was produced by Jacqueline Vazquez, with dynamic marketing and branding by Keivon Jones of Keivon Brands, setting the tone for a polished, empowering atmosphere from start to finish.

The day featured powerful insights and panel discussions from industry heavyweights including celebrity makeup artist J. Brandon, celebrity hair stylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez, and founder of Glamazon Beauty Kim Baker, while Cindy Novotny delivered an electrifying keynote address that left the audience energized and ready to take charge of their careers. Attendees also enjoyed a star-studded red carpet hosted by David Correa, adding a touch of glamour to an already unforgettable experience.

With BELLA Magazine proudly serving as the official media partner, Bloom in Beauty offered not just connection, but transformation—a new model for how beauty professionals can meet opportunity with intention.

As Dr. Diaz-Meaike shared, “Bloom in Beauty is a new model for how beauty professionals connect with hiring businesses, brand partners, and educators.”

Exhibitors included Hair and Makeup Artist Jess Bonilla, Founder of Seis Cosmetics Suhay Gonzalez, and Hair Artist + Extension Specialist Clayton Behrmann.
