Alice + Olivia Spring/Summer 2026: Playful Hair for a Colorful Collection

At New York Fashion Week, Alice + Olivia founder and creative director Stacey Bendet unveiled her Spring/Summer 2026 collection, filled with vibrant color and playful sophistication. To complement the looks, lead hairstylist Glen Oropeza created a series of polished, youthful styles that perfectly balanced versatility with individuality.

“The collection is extremely colorful and playful, so we wanted a hair look that could adapt to many different outfits,” Oropeza shared backstage. “By pulling the hair back and off the face, each style could then be customized and accessorized to complement the look—modern, playful, and youthful.”

Using a range of hero products—including amika’s The Wizard detangling primer, Supernova moisture + shine cream, Fluxus touchable hairspray, and Top Gloss shine spray—Oropeza and his team crafted sleek center-part braids woven with fabric, finished into polished chignons. Depending on texture, hair was prepped with smoothing balms, blow-dried with the Bio Ionic 10X UltraLight Speed Dryer, and refined with the Bio Ionic 10X Styling Iron. Accessories from Goody and finishing tools from Wet Brush ensured each look was secure, sleek, and runway ready.

The result? Hair that mirrored the spirit of the collection: chic yet versatile, structured yet playful—seamlessly transitioning from the runway to real life.
