BROOKLYN, NY – Dream, Reach, Inspire, Together Again, took “give back” to new heights with a star-studded evening on November 17th, led by Philanthropist & TV Anchor/ Reporter, Phil Taitt. The inspirational night produced by ForSmiles Inc., at the historic Brooklyn Bank, sponsored by Miss Jessie’s, Sheen Magazine, water brand Treo and EmblemHealth. This highly anticipated evening encouraged communities to ‘have a seat at the table’ and obtain recipes for success from a group of highly influential stars! This all included Dream Reach Inspire, Equity/ Housing Award Recipient Malik Yoba, Dream Reach Inspire Drum Major for Change Award Recipient, Angela Yee, and Dream Reach Inspire, Diversity and Inclusion Agent Award Recipient, Keenan Scott II, guided by the mistress of ceremonies, Emmy Award-winning reporter Ayana Harry. All proceeds from the evening support Dream Reach Inspire’ programming in Brooklyn, New York offered to city youth. Taitt, led an inspirational conversation with the evening honorees highlighting topics such as navigating in the workplace +entrepreneurship. Diversifying profiles and portfolios, activism through various industries, and real estate. The evening wouldn’t be complete without the sounds of our captivating surprise guest performers, Brooklyn United Marching Band! Brooklyn’s very own Monique Sade and Paul Gee also contributed their talents with an emotional tribute of the Oscar Winning song ‘Glory.’ Sade also returned at the end of the evening to pay tribute to our honorees with her single ‘Shine’ which had the room rocking! Sounds for the evening all back by musical director Terrence Butler and Kaleidoscope! Special guests included Mistress of Ceremonies Emmy Award Winning, Ayana Harry + brother of George Floyd, Terrence Floyd, NY1 Veteran ‘News All Day’ Anchor, Ruschell Boone. Elected officials also joined in on the evening, Rhea Smith from State Senator Kevin Parker’s office, Councilmember Rita Joseph and Farah Louis. Taitt was given a surprise proclamation from the state, for his community work and activism.Dream Reach Inspire, is a 501C3 founded by TV anchor and philanthropist Phil Taitt! Our goal is to uplift the morale and outlook of youths facing various obstacles, and to keep our children engaged in created programming, and off New York City streets.
