Introducing Artist Dori Desautel Broudy: BELLA Magazine’s Newest Brand Partner

Dori Desautel Broudy is a multifaceted artist, entrepreneur, and former commercial litigator, whose journey is driven by her motto, “Beautiful in purpose as well as presentation.”
Originally hailing from New England, Dori relocated to Philadelphia, where she transitioned from a successful legal career to full-time motherhood before diving into the world of art and entrepreneurship. After ten years in the legal profession, during which she passed five bar exams, Dori took a decade to focus on her family. In 2018, she founded the Gallery of Good®️, channeling her lifelong passion for illustration and positive energy into a thriving art business.
Dori’s artwork centers on themes of unity, respect, inclusivity, and joy. She creates and sells her pieces in various forms, including canvas, acrylic, and greeting cards, all designed and produced entirely in the United States, with a strong commitment to supporting small, local businesses. This dedication to local craftsmanship has resulted in collaborations with over 40 small American businesses since the company's inception.
A significant aspect of Dori's work is its philanthropic dimension. From the outset, she has incorporated a charitable component into her business model, contributing to more than two dozen charities worldwide. Her contributions include donations of time, funds, special collections, and artwork for auction, benefiting organizations like the Abramson Cancer Center, World Central Kitchen, the Black Doctors Consortium, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Through these efforts, Dori has raised over $155,000 to support initiatives that address the needs of children and their families.
Dori’s artistic reach extends through retail partnerships, commissioned works, and special projects across the United States and internationally. Her collaborations include notable names such as the Four Seasons Hotel, HGTV’s Hilary Farr, the James Beard Award-winning Kalaya Restaurant, and Philadelphia’s iconic fashion house, Boyds. Her artwork has been celebrated at more than a dozen exhibits nationwide, with showings in major cities like New York, Philadelphia, and Boston, as well as international destinations such as Hydra, Greece, Mexico City, and Ibiza, Spain.
Most recently, Dori's work has been prominently showcased in New York City at the Oculus, where her artistic vision has garnered attention and acclaim. She has been named one of the world’s top photographers by Bleucalf Magazine, highlighting her versatility as an artist. Recently, Dori launched a collection titled “La-la Land” to support communities impacted by the California wildfires, stating, “I aspire to create pieces that not only bring beauty but also serve a purpose, connecting and uplifting those in need.”
Dori has also expanded her artistic offerings to include lifestyle products, such as American-made apparel, tote bags, ceramic mugs, and home decor, showcasing her artwork in everyday items. Her portfolio now spans traditional art forms as well as cutting-edge digital art, including NFTs, reflecting her adaptability and innovation in the ever-evolving art landscape.
With numerous accomplishments in a relatively short period, Dori Desautel Broudy has truly found her calling as an artist and entrepreneur, and she continues to explore new avenues for creativity and impact.
