BitBasel returned to Miami Art Week with its most ambitious and intellectually layered edition to date. From December 3–7, 2025, the sixth iteration of the fair unfolded inside the iconic Sagamore Hotel South Beach under the resonant theme Fingerprints of Humanity a meditation on legacy, innovation, and the marks we leave behind in an increasingly digital world.
Part exhibition, part summit, part cultural salon, BitBasel once again proved that Miami Art Week is as much about ideas as it is about spectacle.
The week opened on Wednesday with the Family Office Forum, setting a thoughtful tone that underscored BitBasel’s unique position at the intersection of art, wealth, and impact. Legacy families, collectors, and investors gathered for forward-looking conversations around purposeful capital, cultural stewardship, and the next economy an intentional reminder that art continues to shape not only taste, but values.
As night fell, the mood shifted. Two-time Grammy Award–winning artist Shaggy officially kicked off BitBasel’s nightlife programming by hosting OkayPlayer Presents: Friends From New York. Performing crowd favorites like Angel and It Wasn’t Me, the music icon also unveiled the title of his upcoming album, Lottery, seamlessly blending live performance with digital art and setting the pace for a week where boundaries between disciplines all but disappeared.

That evening, MOOON.Party Vol. 3 transformed the Sagamore into a nocturnal playground beneath the final supermoon of 2025, where DJs and digital art installations carried the energy deep into the night. The significance of the moment was officially recognized when the City of Miami Beach proclaimed December 4th as BitBasel Day.
