The Bossacoustics – A Letter from VASSY
Bossacoustics marks a new chapter in my artistic journey—one that feels like coming home. Long before my career in EDM and dance music took flight, I was deeply inspired by the smooth rhythms of Bossa Nova, the soul of Latin Jazz, and the timeless beauty of classic melodies. That’s the music that made me fall in love with singing. That’s where it all began for me.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing on some of the world’s biggest stages, collaborating with incredible producers, and creating dance records that have reached millions. But I’ve always held onto this other side of myself—the part rooted in the warm, acoustic textures of the music I grew up listening to, the kind of songs I’d sing along to in my bedroom, dreaming of becoming an artist.
Bossacoustics is my tribute to that beginning. This album is an intimate acoustic collection that honors my roots, while also blending in the sound I’ve become known for.
