Where Style Gives Back: Inside A.L.C. East Hampton’s Philanthropic Shopping Event

On Saturday, May 2, A.L.C. East Hampton, in partnership with host Lilly Hartley, welcomed guests for a day that seamlessly blended fashion, beauty, and purpose. Held at the brand’s Newtown Lane boutique, the event supported the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF), drawing a stylish crowd from the local community for an afternoon of meaningful giving.

Guests spent the day discovering A.L.C.’s latest collection while enjoying complimentary mini makeovers by Jones Road Beauty, adding a beauty-forward touch to the shopping experience. With 20 percent of proceeds donated directly to ARF, every purchase carried a deeper impact, reinforcing the power of community-driven philanthropy.

The event marked a milestone moment for the boutique, becoming A.L.C. East Hampton’s largest in-store shopping event to date, surpassing previous summer activations and raising over $5,000 for the organization. Known for its ongoing commitment to rescuing and caring for animals in need, ARF continues to play a vital role in the Hamptons community, making the collaboration a natural and meaningful partnership.

Set against the backdrop of one of the Hamptons’ most iconic shopping destinations, the afternoon felt equal parts elevated and intimate. It was a reminder that style, when paired with intention, can extend far beyond the wardrobe—creating space for connection, generosity, and lasting impact.
