Fashion Strikes Cancer invites the community to the 10th Annual Lighting Ceremony, honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The evening, hosted by Founder Angeles Almuna in collaboration with the Florida Grand Opera, will feature stirring performances of The Flower Duet from Lakmé by Léo Delibes and Sull’aria from The Marriage of Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Soprano vocalists Haojin Mo and Catherin Meza will perform, accompanied by pianist Jared Peroune.

With music by DJ Drez, this transformative yoga experience invites guests to flow under the Miami sky while supporting a life-saving cause. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite pink yoga attire. Every $25 reservation directly supports critical breast cancer research—making every breath and every pose a contribution to the fight.

Returning for its second year, Shoes for a Cure is the U.S. fashion and footwear industry’s leading fundraiser for breast cancer research and treatment. More than 20 luxury brands—including Tom Ford, Valentino, and Ferragamo—will host exclusive activations throughout the Miami Design District, with a percentage of proceeds benefiting the Braman Family Breast Cancer Institute at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The weekend opens with an exclusive dinner at Mother Wolf Miami, featuring a silent auction of extraordinary experiences: rare pieces from world-renowned fashion houses, VIP passes to prestigious art and sporting events, and ultra-luxury getaways. Beginning October 1, bidding for these coveted auction items will be open to the public.
