MIAMI WORLDCENTER TO CELEBRATE GRAND OPENINGWITH A STAR-STUDDED CONCERT AND BLOCK PARTY PRESENTED BY OPENBANK BY SANTANDER
After more than a decade of ambitious planning, design, and development, Miami Worldcenter is officially ready to take center stage. On Thursday, May 22, 2025, Downtown Miami’s most anticipated lifestyle destination will host an extraordinary grand opening celebration featuring world-renowned performers, immersive activations, and a vision of the city’s future that’s as bold as it is breathtaking.
Spanning 27 acres and totaling more than $6 billion in development, Miami Worldcenter is redefining urban life in South Florida with its blend of luxury residences, high-end retail, fine dining, cutting-edge entertainment, and world-class hospitality. The opening night promises to reflect that scale and spectacle.
Beginning at 6:00 PM at 850 NE 2nd Avenue, the event will include a free concert open to the public with RSVP. Hosted by Miami’s own DJ IRIE and DJ SCOTTY B, the evening opens with a moving performance of “God Bless the U.S.A.” by Grammy Award-winner Lee Greenwood, followed by a powerful lineup of international artists including Flo Rida, Nicky Jam, and Shaggy. The night will conclude with a high-energy block party set by global EDM sensation Alesso, complete with fireworks, special effects, laser light shows, and confetti displays.
Guests will also enjoy complimentary food and beverage tastings, along with interactive street-level experiences hosted by many of the newly opened retailers and restaurants.
The grand opening is proudly presented by Openbank by Santander, a new digital banking platform that blends simplicity and innovation. Additional sponsors include Ray-Ban, citizenM Hotels, Nestlé (with complimentary Essentia Water), E11EVEN Vodka, Lucky Strike, and Rentyl Resorts, the event’s official hospitality partner.
At the heart of Miami Worldcenter is nearly 300,000 square feet of retail and dining, with a curated selection of luxury and lifestyle brands including Sephora, Lululemon, Ray-Ban, Savage X Fenty, Lucid Motors, Free People, HŸP Sneakers, Blo Blow Dry Bar, The Spot Barbershop, SkinSpirit, Bijoux et Montres, Club Studio, and the area’s first Apple Store.
The culinary offerings are equally diverse, ranging from global names like Maple & Ash, Sixty Vines, Earls Kitchen + Bar, and Serafina, to beloved local destinations including Juvia, Brasserie Laurel, Chug’s Express, and El Vecino Cigar & Cocktail Bar.
Miami Worldcenter also incorporates an entertainment corridor for all ages. Attractions include Lucky Strike Bowling and the Museum of Ice Cream, an immersive, multi-sensory experience that’s already become a cultural phenomenon.
In addition to its retail and entertainment appeal, Miami Worldcenter is reshaping urban living in Downtown. The multi-phase project includes more than 11,000 residential units, with several luxury condominium and apartment towers already completed and many more under construction. The hospitality component includes over 1,100 hotel rooms, with citizenM Miami Worldcenter already open and other properties planned for future phases.
Positioned within walking distance of Miami’s most iconic cultural destinations—including the Pérez Art Museum Miami, Frost Science Museum, Adrienne Arsht Center, and Kaseya Center—Miami Worldcenter is set to become the city’s new epicenter for modern life.
The project was brought to life by Miami Worldcenter Associates, led by Art Falcone and Nitin Motwani, in partnership with CIM Group, a Los Angeles-based firm specializing in community-focused real estate and infrastructure.
For a city known for reinvention, Miami Worldcenter is more than a landmark. It is a legacy in the making.
