Josh McBride’s Birthday Blowout Lights Up NYC Ahead of Fashion Week

TV personality Josh McBride once again proved he knows how to throw a party. On Friday, September 5, 2025, he transformed HK Hall into the city’s ultimate pre–Fashion Week celebration, delivering a star-studded birthday bash that quickly became the weekend’s hottest ticket.

With a black-and-pink theme, more than 400 stylish guests filled the venue, sipping signature cocktails from Ja Rule’s Amber & Opal and The Baker Company’s Espresso Martinis, with sweet bites by Baked by Melissa.

The night’s energy was powered by surprise performances — a hallmark of McBride’s parties. Nina Sky kicked things off at 8:15 p.m., followed by Kevin Lyttle, who had the crowd singing word for word to his global hit “Turn Me On.” By 10:15 p.m., Bobby V closed the show with a soulful set that kept the buzz alive long after the lights dimmed.

The red carpet and dance floor brimmed with celebrity energy, including Peppermint (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Lateshia Pearson (Belle Collective), RIP Micheals (Wild ’N Out), Matt Fraser (Meet the Frasers), Alex Garfin (Superman & Lois), and Clay Gravesande (Love Is Blind).

Over the years, McBride’s birthday has grown into one of New York’s most talked-about annual events, with past surprise sets from Yung Joc, Lil Mama, Ryan Toby, and Yung Wylin, and appearances from stars like Ja Rule, Mya, Tiffany Pollard, Teresa Giudice, and Dorinda Medley. This year’s edition raised the bar yet again, cementing McBride’s reputation as a host who brings together the best of fashion, music, and nightlife.
