HETS Student Leaders Lunch

Students from Puerto Rico, the United States, and Latin America gathered in New York City for lunch hosted by BELLA Media + Co and Burgerology. This lunch focused on learning, leadership, and inspiration. It provided nourishment and opportunities for future leaders to grow. One of the highlights of the afternoon was a captivating presentation from Professor Albert Troche, who introduced students to his Leadership Agenda Book. With enthusiasm and practical wisdom, Professor Troche helped the students learn more about one another with fun games. The session ended on a high-energy note, as students were invited to compete for a free copy of the agenda by maneuvering a robot through an obstacle field — a fun and challenging activity that brought out their competitive spirit and teamwork skills.

Adding a powerful personal touch to the afternoon, Vanessa Coppes, Editor-in-Chief of BELLA Magazine, delivered an inspiring talk. She shared her journey with honesty and heart, emphasizing resilience, authenticity, and the importance of using one’s voice. Her words resonated deeply with the students, many of whom expressed renewed motivation to pursue their ambitions with purpose and courage.
