Alice + Olivia Kicks Off Breast Cancer Awareness Month With BCRF in New York City

Stacey Bendet brings fashion, philanthropy, and a touch of pink to Madison Avenue in support of lifesaving breast cancer research.

Shop pink. Give back.

Alice + Olivia opened Breast Cancer Awareness Month with an evening dedicated to fashion, community, and philanthropy at the brand’s Madison Avenue flagship in New York City.

Founder and CEO Stacey Bendet, alongside co-hosts Emily Rockefeller and Dr. Elizabeth Comen, welcomed guests for the celebration benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and marking the launch of Alice + Olivia’s month-long October initiative supporting breast cancer research.

Among those joining the evening were Jenny Mollen, Donna McKay of BCRF, Jennifer Rubio, Julie Macklowe, Sofia Karvela, Natalie Mackey, Dani Stahl, Ebony Wiggins, Carolyn Angel, Aqua Parios, and more.

Fashion With a Purpose

The Madison Avenue boutique was transformed into a celebration of pink, giving guests the opportunity to shop while supporting a cause that impacts millions of women and families.

Guests personalized their purchases with custom embroidery and a charm bar, including the chance to create pink phone charms inspired by the signature color associated with breast cancer awareness.

The evening also featured Bricoleur Vineyards Isla Rose Brut Rosé, LALO Tequila cocktails, The Macklowe Pink Manhattans, and pink-themed sweets.

Providing the soundtrack for the celebration was Quiana Parks, a DJ, artist, cancer survivor, philanthropist, and advocate whose personal connection to the cause brought added meaning to the evening.

Throughout the event, 15% of net proceeds benefited BCRF, supporting the foundation’s work to advance research focused on preventing and curing breast cancer.

Alice + Olivia Goes Pink for October

The celebration is part of a broader partnership between Alice + Olivia and BCRF running throughout National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

From October 1 through October 31, customers who make a donation to BCRF at an Alice + Olivia boutique or online will receive 15% off their purchase. In stores, customers can donate by scanning a designated QR code, while online donors will receive a one-time discount code.

Alice + Olivia has also introduced two limited-edition pink pieces for the initiative: the brand’s signature Willa Blouseand Dollie Cardigan.

For every one of these limited-edition styles sold, $20 will benefit BCRF, helping fund research aimed at improving prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes for people affected by breast cancer.

From New York to Los Angeles

The Madison Avenue gathering is the first of two events planned in support of the partnership this October.

Bendet will take the initiative to the West Coast for a second event co-hosted by Paris Hilton and Kathy Hilton. The cause carries a personal connection for the Hilton family: Kathy Hilton’s mother and Paris Hilton’s grandmother, Kathleen Richards, died from breast cancer in 2002.

The collaboration underscores the role fashion can play beyond what we wear. By bringing together designers, advocates, survivors, supporters, and shoppers, Alice + Olivia and BCRF are turning a month traditionally associated with wearing pink into an opportunity to directly support research.

Because this October, pink isn't simply a color.

It’s a commitment to awareness, action, and a future without breast cancer.
