About NYC Second Chance Rescue
NYC Second Chance Rescue is a nonprofit established in 2009. Thanks to the generous support of their community, they have saved over 15,000 animals from dire circumstances. The organization focuses primarily on large breed dogs and those requiring critical care, as these groups account for a significant portion of euthanasias in the U.S. Remarkably, nine out of ten animals entering the rescue were initially slated for euthanasia at municipal shelters. Through their foster system and dedicated shelter, they provide comprehensive medical care and a safe haven for all pets.
