Novotel Miami Brickell, a Sustainable Wellness Escape

In an effort to showcase and generate awareness surrounding its commitment to wellness and sustainability,  Novotel Miami Brickell hosted a VIP Sustainable Wellness Escape this past weekend on Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29, at their funky Vista Rooftop Bar.

To kick off the weekend escape, the hotel hosted a gorgeous Golden Hour Welcome Cocktail Reception at Vista Rooftop with Claudia Digino, General Manager for Novotel Miami Brickell.

The  early risers participated in a Special Edition of Skyline Yoga with Skanda Yoga Studio on Saturday. Shortly after, the  Wellness & Sustainability Panel Discussion took place featuring some of the most well-respected South Florida industry professionals such as Claudia DiGino, General Manager for Novotel Miami Brickell; Constance Jones, Award-Winning News Anchor at NBC 6 Miami; William "Chip" Rogers, President & CEO for American Hotel & Lodging Association; Rolando Aedo, Chief Operating Officer for the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB); and Jake Moskowitz, Chief Innovation Officer for The Underline.

A thoughtful conversation occurred about how wellness and sustainability relate to one another in the tourism and hospitality industry. This expert panel provided deep insight into sustainability initiatives and wellness experiences to counter today's anxieties for travelers spanning sustainable tech innovations, food waste efforts, biophilic design, community outreach, etc.

Novotel Miami Brickell has a commitment to sustainability and well-being that focuses on four strategic priorities: working with employees, involving customers, innovating with partners, and working with local communities. To achieve this, they teach employees to respect ethical rules and practice eco-friendly habits. The hotel offers eco-friendly toiletries, reuses linens for stays longer than one night, and removes all single-use plastic items in guest experiences. Novotel measures and analyzes water and energy consumption, recycles waste and hazardous materials, and uses energy-saving lamps. The hotel sources local food products and bans endangered fish species. They support local associations, and give away end-of-life hotel products for reuse or recycling

After the panel, attendees immersed themselves in Novotel Miami Brickell's signature VIP Rooftop Sunset Sessions featuring DJ Bryan Peroni. Here, they indulged in a curated lineup of craft cocktails and tasty bites from the grill.

There were also Ultra-Luxe Beauty & Wellness Activations on site throughout the designated VIP area, which featured Mini-facial treatments with an expert aesthetician from BABOR, who included gift bags containing the following product: DOCTOR BABOR Power Serum Ampoules: 8D Hyaluronic Acid; DOCTOR BABOR Lifting Rx Dual Eye Solution; and DOCTOR BABOR Lifting Rx Collagen Cream.

A Body Tone EMS  Therapy was also offered from Dashbar. This technique applies electric impulse therapy to stimulate muscle contractions in the treated area. Guests were even given the opportunity to experience Normatec 3 recovery leg massages and Hyperice'Hypervolt self-massage guns, which brought a piece of the spa to the event.

Attendees also received a sample of BLASS Beauty Balm- the all-natural and safe Vitamin C stick to brighten your peach!
