PARAMOUNT+ SERVES UP A STAR-STUDDED NEW YORK CITY PREMIERE OF “GOOD BURGER 2”
Paramount+ hosted a red carpet and premiere screening of the highly anticipated movie sequel GOOD BURGER 2 in New York City. The nostalgic 90s feature film GOOD BURGER was based on the sketch from the Nickelodeon comedy series All That starring Kenan Thompson as Dex and Kel Mitchell as Dex.
The highly anticipated film sequel follows Dexter Reed (Kenan Thompson) and original cashier Ed (Kel Mitchell) as they reunite in the present day at the fast-food restaurant Good Burger with a hilarious new group of employees. In GOOD BURGER 2, Dexter Reed is down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails. Ed welcomes Dex back to Good Burger with open arms and gives him his old job back. With a new crew working at Good Burger, Dex devises a plan to get back on his feet but unfortunately puts the fate of Good Burger at risk once again.
The story follows Dexter as he returns to work at Good Burger after one of his inventions fails, joining his pal Ed – who has continued working at Good Burger all those years later. The comedy takes us on a ride as we watch the fate of the restaurant being at risk again.
Stars and guests were welcomed to the GOOD BURGER 2 premiere, “Home of the Good Burger,” and were escorted onto a restaurant-themed red carpet that transferred them into a Good Burger setting. Kenan and Kel both provided remarks ahead of the screening to thank attendees for their outpouring support for Ed and Dex since embarking on this journey 26 years ago. Following the screening, guests were treated to a game-night themed reception that included corn hole, ping pong, polaroid still in a comfortable burger bed from the set of GOOD BURGER 2, along with themed cocktails and tasty bites including a secret sauce burger.
Attendees included GOOD BURGER 2 cast members Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Alex Hibbert, Emily Hinkler, Elizabeth Hinkler, Anabel Graetz, Danny Tamberelli, Matthew Friend, Executive Producers-Writers Kevin Koepelow, Heath Seifert, Director Phil Traill and Producer Johnny Ryan.
