Below, I’ll share my favorite before and after photos that prove that the correct products and color can go a long way! With Beyond Paint, a little goes a long way. The application was a breeze, I used less than a quart of paint and the application went smoothly and evenly without brush strokes. I did not need to use a primer or sealer, which saved me time and effort. The paint adhered well to the cabinet surface, and the coverage was excellent with just two coats.
The finish is beautiful, with a subtle sheen that gives my cabinets a refreshed, professional look. The paint dried quickly and did not have a strong odor, which made the application process pleasant. I also appreciate that Beyond Paint is water-based and low in VOCs, which makes it not have the normal paint fumes I have experienced with other paint projects.
1. Prep and clean cabinets.
2. Remove hardware and doors.
3. Paint the first coat on the cabinet box.
4. Reattach cabinet doors to paint them.
5. Use a brush to get in the creases or crevices.
6. Roll remaining flat surfaces, painting doors inside and out, and drawer fronts. Leave them open to avoid touching wet paint to dry and seal.
7. Allow 2-4 hours for the first coat to dry.
8. Apply a second coat and let dry.
9. If a touch-up is needed, do so accordingly.
10. Let dry and add hardware.
