Our Women of Influence Issue is one of my favorites to publish. When you really think about it, it's pretty remarkable to see the influence so many women have had over the course of our lives. And in this issue, my team and I set out to celebrate women from all walks of life and acknowledge just how fabulous they are.
It is my hope that one day, women can really look to each other and understand that we can all win, that there is enough for us all to succeed, and more importantly, that if we support each other, it only makes the path easier to navigate.
Our cover star, Dr. Shefali, encourages us to embrace the present in order to live a fulfilling life. As a woman considered one of the top parenting coaches in the world, Dr. Shefali’s advice is a stern reminder of just how powerful we all are if we are willing to truly look within ourselves. This power can then extend to how we parent, our relationships with our significant others and friends, and how we show up for others—especially other women.
In the process of finding myself, I have been fortunate to meet some incredible people along the way. It’s why, aside from our coveted BELLA Boss features, I decided to highlight several powerful women who have helped get BELLA and me to where we are today. I hope you delve into our “Up Close & Personal: Women of Influence" feature beginning on page 38.
In this issue you’ll also find resources to keep your fashion, beauty, and wellness games on point. From throwback hairstyles and self-care, to where to travel and culinary innovations you'll love (spearheaded by women, of course!), we’ve got you covered.
