Vivian Pisano’s Secret Garden is in Bloom
Vivian Pisano is a versatile professional who embarked on a unique career journey, transitioning from studying Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology to becoming a Licensed Cosmetologist. She found success as a color educator and creative stylist in various salons across the New York Metro area.
With a strong entrepreneurial drive, Vivian established The Secret Garden Salon in her grandmother's creatively adorned garage in 2000. Over time, the salon expanded to a bustling storefront with six chairs. In 2004, she furthered her vision by investing in a Victorian Cottage, growing to twelve hair stations and pioneering a green operating model. This initiative transformed her establishment into the only green/organic salon in Staten Island, NY, while maintaining its charming appeal.
Driven by her artistic flair, Vivian delved into photography, integrating a photo-studio within her salon. This passion led to the transformation of an old church into her second salon in Marlboro, NJ, featuring a deluxe glam photo-studio.
Alongside her expertise in portrait photography, she collaborates with her dedicated team in both locations to foster growth and innovation, empowering women to embrace their best selves.
When she's not immersed in work or spending time with her family, Vivian indulges her love for gardening, finding solace knee-deep in the earth.
