Get Baked With NYPB

We recently connected with NYPB, founder to Franco Vanderka. Since its inception in 2020, NYPB has experienced consistent growth and is changing the conversation about marijuana.

With the legalization of cannabis in several US States, the conversation surrounding marijuana is evolving. However, the stigma surrounding marijuana is long outdated, and breaking it isn’t easy. I connected with Franco Vanderka, founder of NYPB, to discuss his latest entrepreneurial endeavors.

Franco has always been passionate about finding ways to grow while helping those closest to him. He took his passion of building, assembled an unbelievable team and introduced his legacy marijuana brand. After some medical scares, he did some research and learned about the benefits of THC. Not only did he benefit physically, but more important, mentally. Soon after cannabis became a part of his wellness and lifestyle.

“Since New York state voted to make THC legally recreationally, a lot of people have come out of the closet. which is seriously great to see, but there’s still some work to be done. Some still think marijuana is a drug, but if you’ve tried it, you realize it’s medicine.”, says Vanderka.

Since 2010 NYPB has been perfecting their Cannabutter recipes, as well as their process for infusing oils and honeys.

NYPB, otherwise known as New York Pot Butter, is a retail-based company, specializing in an array of gourmet food, apparel, and merchandise. Their branding is our bread and butter.  “Lando”, or the little happy stick of butter seen in the original logo, can be seen in a few outfits or costumes, printed all over their merchandise. In three short years NYPB has expanded nationally, and was a sponsor of the BET Awards.

In addition, NYPB decided, thanks to their customers to sell their one-of-a-kind desserts, with NO THC. Everything we put out tastes the same, infused or not, which is why they are so special!

Vanderka hosts the podcast with his childhood best friend, Mario Angieri.  The interview style podcast is filmed while enjoying a Three-course THC infused meal (THC optional for guests). The lively conversations include special guests from all different genres of life, musicians, athletes, producers, mentalists, doctors, etc.

As youngsters The Oven ‘Potcast’ hosts would ask themselves the question, “Name one historical figure you could sit down to dinner with and ask any questions to, which they would have to answer, who would it be?

That question was the impetus of their successful podcast. Now in their second season, The Oven ‘Potcast’ continues to wow their audience with real and raunchy content. While breaking bread the conversations are honest, hilarious, and inspirational.
