From Multi-Hyphenate Pageant Title Winner to Director + Franchise Holder, Jaclyn Stapp Embodies the Beauty of a True Queen

Jclyn Stapp is an American beauty with Middle Eastern roots born in New York, with an upbringing in Florida. Stapp is first generation Jordanian, raised by a widowed mother. She credits her strength and kindness from the matriarch of the family, as she watched her single-handedly raise five children, after the tragic loss of their father. The lessons of her faith, understanding the structure of a cohesive family and perseverance is what lead her on a philanthropic path.

Understanding the importance of mental health from an early childhood, she founded Children Are Magical Foundation (CHARM) a nonprofit children's advocacy program organization supporting families and children in need. As CEO, she was awarded by NAMI NYC the “Catalyst for Change Award” in her goal to help changing the world. She has assisted thousands of families in keeping their children in school, supplying them with food, providing refuge and contributing multiple other resources via CHARM. In continuation of her service to mental health, she proudly adds yoga master to her CV.

During her quest of saving the world, Jaclyn supported her humanitarianism efforts by modeling and hosting. Her credits include Nashville Insider, CMA Awards, Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project, FOX News Contributor, featured on the Travel Channel, Miss USA Fear Factor, Sex and the City, Fitness Magazine, Boca Life Magazine, People Magazine and US Weekly, to name a few. In addition to her many accomplishments, Stapp received a Mom's Choice Award for her family friendly authored book, Wacky Jacky: The True Story of an Unlikely Beauty Queen and considered a children's literacy classic.

As a personal mission for self-empowerment and broadening her platform; Stapp entered the world of pageantry with confidence. She proudly represented her native country at Mrs. World 2021, held the coveted tile of Mrs. Florida America 2008 and Miss New York USA 2004. Her most humbling and life-changing memory during her pageant days is being invited by the White House Provisional Coalition to visit the US military in Baghdad at an Iraqi orphanage. While there, she met with brave female members of Iraq’s Governing Council to discuss human rights.

During 2004 as Miss New York USA, she had a kismet meeting with Scott Stapp, lead singer of American Music Award winning band Creed. Scott and Jaclyn ceremoniously wed in 2006, have three beautiful children and currently reside in Nashville.

Today, as the former pageant title holder of Mrs. World 2021, Mrs. Florida America 2008, and Miss New York USA 2004, Stapp is passing the crown to go behind-the-scenes as the director and franchise holder for Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA, under the Miss USA Organization.

Stapp brings her rich entertainment history to the new chapter of the Miss USA Organization lead by Laylah Rose. "I'm excited to bring that expertise back to my home state of Florida, to produce a modern, fresh event, and to forever change the lives of the lucky ladies who walk away with the crown." Jaclyn is committed to elevating beauty beyond the surface by creating a stage where diversity is celebrated. Jaclyn is so grateful for what the pageant industry has done for her and will keep empowering women to be seen, heard, and valued for their unique qualities, aiming to redefine beauty standards with a dedication to unity and acceptance.

“We are delighted to have Jaclyn as our newest State Director for Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA. Her impressive background ensures she will make the Florida competition an unforgettable event," says Laylah Rose, CEO, and President of the Miss USA Organization.

Her first pageant as director will be held in July with what Stapp hopes to be a historical one, as one of her contestants is 62. Since the new rules include complete inclusivity (no age restrictions, pregnant and married can now compete), Stapp is hoping to usher in a new generation of women. Additional details to follow.
