Get a Taste of Vegas at the Jersey Shore

When you think of the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas – the shows, the casinos, the bright lights – nothing really seems comparable. However, thanks to Spiegelworld, the entertainment company behind many of Vegas’s top shows, those on the East Coast can get closer to the high-octane excitement of Las Vegas than ever before.

Atlantic City, New Jersey’s popular beachfront destination with a bit of a quirky history (google the diving horses if you don’t believe us), is known as the gaming and resort capital of the east, drawing in over 27 million visitors each year. Similar to its West Coast counterpart, AC boasts plenty of casinos, resorts, and entertainment, much of which can be found along the town’s sprawling beachside boardwalk. Caesar’s Palace, a sprawling hotel with three towers, over 1,100 rooms, eight restaurants, and a handful of bars, is one of the main hubs for visitors to stay, gamble, and play during their getaway. Recently, the hotel debuted a new hotel-within-a-hotel concept in partnership with Nobu Hotel. Located on the Centurion Tower’s top three floors, the elevated lodgings feature the distinct, yet subtle Japanese design elements that Nobu brands have become synonymous with. Guests staying at the Nobu Hotel benefit from a distinct reception area where they’ll be greeted with a warm towel and tea upon arrival and even warmer hospitality.

A match made in heaven for any friends’ get-together, bachelorette party, or couple’s getaway, a night out tearing up all the hotspots within Caesar’s is just what the doctor ordered. Superfrico, an Italian-American restaurant that serves psychedelic presentation and over-the-top dishes provides the perfect marriage between Atlantic City’s quirkiness and Vegas’ showmanship. Options like tableside mozzarella and tomahawk steak make for quite the production, while playful cocktails like the Pool Boy come with more than you might’ve bargained for (hint: an actual pool boy – sign me up). With myriad rooms, each with its own unique identity, and cheeky service, it’s no surprise that this Las Vegas staple has made its way east to much fanfare, although the menus slightly differ.

Post-dinner, continue the revelry at The Hook, Spiegelworld’s main AC attraction (you’ll get a sneak peek at some of the performers throughout dinner). The raucous show pays homage to Atlantic City’s esteemed location with a nautical theme and naughty surprises. For adult eyes only, The Hook combines jaw-dropping acrobatics with raunchy humor. You’ll be in stitches for the entire 75-minute show, and thanks to the impressive performers, you’re going to leave wanting more. Continue the merriment nearby at Horse Dive Bar, which as its name suggests, alludes to the area’s controversial horse-diving past. The intimate, kitschy horse-themed bar is the perfect place for a warming nightcap and fans of the cocktail menu can even purchase bottles of the juice to go. Just like the bright lights of Vegas, the new entertainment in Atlantic City is drawing in visitors by the droves.
