STYLE
Moxy Times Square’s style is built on a foundation of craftsmanship, functionality, honest materials, and thoughtful details. Polished concrete floors, exposed concrete columns, distressed brick walls, open ceilings, and beautiful millwork marry original historic elements with fresh and refined finishes. Communal public spaces are multipurpose, flexible, reconfigurable, and furnished with an eclectic mix of bespoke Yabu Pushelberg–designed leather and canvas furniture.
Greeting guests in the dynamic and socially-driven atrium, is “Bear,” a hanging installation composed of black plastic and mirror fragments by Japanese artist, Sawada. Sawada was inspired by the hotel’s riff on “urban camping”.
