Glaudi by Johana Hernandez Partners with City National Bank in Beverly Hills Fashion Show

Dreams do come true. GLAUDI’s Fashion Show in Beverly Hills showcased several runway models and a panel of powerhouse “role models” women who are known for inspiring others on February 27, 2023 in Beverly Hills, CA. Johana Hernandez, GLAUDI designer, partnered with City National Bank to accentuate the significance and responsibility of the duty of being “role models” in our generation. The show had a packed line-up of powerful women such as Iva Colter, Vice President of Netflix Talent Acquisitions; Linda Duncombe, Executive Vice President of City National Bank; Liliana Perez, Los Angeles Chargers NFL Team Director of Cultural Affairs; Kika Rocha, Fashion & Beauty Director of People en Español Magazine; and GLAUDI’s Founder and Designer herself, Johana Hernandez. The event was moderated by Emmy award-winning journalist, Spectrum’s Giselle Fernandez, the “Role Models” pre-fashion show segment was opened and presented by Beverly Hills Vice Mayor, Lil Bosse. Johana Hernandez stated before the show, “In the fashion world, we need not just models, but Role Models- women that live and leave a legacy, inspiring the world to be a better placed! I want to empower them to achieve all of their goals dressed in GLAUDI.”

Having celebrated a 12th anniversary since launching GLAUDI, the romance continued as a GLAUDI Spring fashion took place in the iconic Beverly Cañon Gardens on March 25th, featuring a beautiful outdoor fashion show with bridal and evening gowns and men’s tuxedos, taking you on a garden-dream runway, while showcasing models of all shapes and sizes.

GLAUDI is also launching its first collection of sustainable earrings. Her accessory collection is handmade in El Salvador from excess GLAUDI dress fabric to give them a second life. Each design is also ethically made, empowering women’s communities from vulnerable areas of El Salvador. Through her collection, GLAUDI provides job opportunities for women, allowing them to improve their quality of life for themselves and their children!

After 12 years of designing stunning gowns, this will be her last collection before saying, “I do.” As an added treat to this already-amazing fashion show, Ms. Hernandez graced the runway in her own bridal gown after getting engaged to fiancé John Daniel Hutton in Cancun, Mexico, on December 9, 2022. Additionally, this GLAUDI fashion show also featured celebrity models and guests.

Passionate about giving back, an emphasis that was at the Beverly Hills ’23 show contributed to a meaningful organization. To help girls thrive, GLAUDI will be supporting the charity, EmpowHer. Johana shares, “The reason why supporting EmpowHer is so important is it equips kids in low-income areas to find their dream careers and pursue them at a young age. When I was young, there weren’t programs like this to help us. I relate to all the girls in it, not knowing how to get into universities. We can set them up for success through the EmpowHer mentorship program.

The finale of all finales was Johana’s procession down the runway in the dress that said it all.. Proceeds from the GLAUDI Spring ’23 fashion show in Beverly Hills are going to EmpowHer. Visit the charity’s organization at the following link: https://empowher.org.
