Daniela Uribe, a luxury footwear designer and BELLA Magazine editor, recently got engaged to interior designer, Jose Tomas Villatoro, in an intimate celebration in Miami. Daniela and Jose Tomas were surrounded by their closest family and friends for the proposal, filled with love and personal touches. The ceremony was attended by Jose Tomas’s father, Daniela’s parents and brother, along with her two lifelong best friends, who flew in from New York and Denver for the special occasion and Felipe Ulloa.

The evening featured a live violinist playing their favorite songs, creating a romantic atmosphere. Renowned photographer Ricardo Mejia captured the event, while A1naire, an ultra-luxury car hailing service, showcased its fleet of high-end vehicles.

Highlights included Daniela being whisked away in a Rolls-Royce Cullinan for a private dinner at Komodo, completing a night of Miami luxury.

An elegantly refined celebration! Kelly Barruffe and Michael Barbieri exchanged vows on November 1, 2024, marking the beginning of their everlasting love story. Their wedding exuded a sophisticated style. Groomsmen, bridesmaids, and guests all dressed in classic black attire, creating a striking visual against a backdrop of black fabrics, accented by gold candelabras, black silk bows, and delicate arrangements of baby’s breath and calla lilies.

Kelly's bridal ensemble encapsulated the essence of timeless elegance. Michael's choice of attire was equally impressive, harmonizing flawlessly with his bride-to-be.

Following the heartfelt exchange of vows, the newlyweds, surrounded by their loved ones, transitioned to the reception where Kelly's Brazilian heritage took center stage. Mesmerizing Brazilian samba dancers, adorned in their iconic feathered ensembles, dazzled and entertained the guests, while the couple, along with their family and friends, danced the night away, creating unforgettable memories of joy and celebration.

BELLA Magazine’s Editorial Director, Jennifer MacLellan, recently celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary with her husband, Joseph, on November 3rd. Their beach ceremony took place in Sint Maarten at the Ocean Point Resort, overlooking the beautiful Maho Beach. The three-day celebration was flawlessly coordinated by Sint Maarten Weddings and SMG Entertainment.

Jennifer walked down the aisle in a custom gown by Justin Alexander, accessorized with Verstolo diamond jewelry and Bella Belle shoes, to the melody of a live violinist. Her bridal glam was expertly done by MJ Bridal Artistry, and the bridal party, donned in Azazie gowns and Dune Jewelry, added to the radiance of the day.

For the couple’s first dance, Jennifer slipped into an Eva Lendel satin gown, while Joseph sported a stylish look from The Modern Groom, perfectly matching his groomsmen. The entire celebration was captured by Rio Walks Films and the reception was filled with lively entertainment as the groom’s brother emceed and DJ Shortkutz kept the dance floor buzzing. To cap off the night, Jennifer opted for a sparkly mini dress by Lé Lauriér, while guests snapped memories in the Photo Booth and danced the night away.

Lauren Holovka, bridal designer and founder of Lé Lauriér, created four couture bridal looks for her wedding to Timmy Linskey Jr. on August 16, 2024, along with the mother of the bride gown and a flower girl dress.

The day began at Shells Loft in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, where she showcased her custom gowns and design sketches. Her morning included “The Hair & Makeup Robe®,” a patented off-the-shoulder design available at Macy's and Kleinfeld Bridal, followed by her Custom Couture Bridal robe, known as “The Dress before The Dress®.”

As she stepped into her first custom gown—a hand-beaded Chantilly lace design with delicate sleeves and a detachable silk train—she felt immense joy for her church ceremony, held at the same church where her grandparents and parents were married.

At Hudson House in Jersey City, she changed into her second fitted beaded gown with a one-shoulder silhouette. For the cake-cutting, she revealed her third look, a unique haute couture high-low gown crafted with a balloon technique.

Each piece was made with love, marking a proud moment as she created for herself what she designs for brides worldwide.
